ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A man is heading to trial on charges he assaulted his wife and opened fire on Allentown police officers in September.

Del Robyn Fenty was in court Friday for a preliminary hearing. Several police officers testified that Fenty fired at them after they responded to reports of a domestic disturbance on North 3rd Street.

Three officers suffered minor injuries during the ordeal.

Fenty was later arrested in the Bronx and returned to Pennsylvania to face charges.
