DEP investigating large spill of gasoline in Nazareth

NAZARETH, Pa. - State officials are investigating a gasoline spill in Northampton County.

The spill happened last week at the Shell gas station at Walnut and New streets in Nazareth.

The Department of Environmental Protection said it is looking into any possible ground contamination.

The agency said the station's owner has to hire an independent contractor to test the water and soil.
