Derek Jeter to start rehab assignment vs IronPigs

NEW YORK, N.Y. - New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter will start his rehab assignment in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday. The RailRiders are hosting Lehigh Valley.

Jeter is scheduled to play at least five innings against the IronPigs.

The Yankee Captain broke his ankle on October 13th and had surgery. He played briefly in Spring Training, but another break was found on October 18th.

He has not played in a regular season game this season.
