Developers show off Strata East apartments in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown's downtown development was on display Thursday.

69 News got an inside look at the new Strata East apartments. The $20 million building is an expansion of the neighboring Strata West, just around the corner at Sixth and Linden streets.

Strata East boasts a rooftop deck, fitness center, access to the ArtsWalk, and something for man's best friend.

"In our new building, the dog park just opened up, so that's pretty cool," said Robert Fox, community manager, Strata Flats. "The pet lovers love it. Dogs love it. There's fire hydrants and stuff in there. There's also a pet wash."

Three floors at Strata East have already been completed and residents have moved in; the rest of the building should be finished by the end of June.
