Police searching for 3 men accused of killing dog in Whitehall

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a dog Tuesday night in Lehigh County.

Officers arrived in the 500 block of West Union Street around 10:30 p.m.where they found the deceased dog.

Police say three men showed up at the location and were looking for a dog. When someone walked out of the home with a dog, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot it, according to police. The suspects then ran away. 

Police also said the the shooting may have been related to an incident earlier in the day involving a domestic disturbance.
