Donations being collected for victims of Mineral Springs fire

More than a dozen residents displaced after Tuesday's blaze in Forks Twp., Northampton Co.

FORKS TWP., Pa. - Community members in Northampton County are lending a helping hand to the victims of a fire at an apartment building Tuesday.

The fire displaced more than a dozen residents of the Mineral Springs Bar and Restaurant at 4306 N Delaware Dr, (Route 611).

A donation drop-off location has been set up at 4760 S. Delaware Drive.

Seven families were displaced after the fire and two people are still in the hospital.

Community members will be handing out the collected clothing and supplies to the victims Friday at the Lower Mount Bethel Fire Department beginning at noon.

They are also setting up a benefit at the Bangor VFW on November 2nd.
