Twin-engine plane makes hard landing at LVIA

HANOVER TWP., Pa. - An airplane came in for a hard landing at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Lehigh County on Tuesday. 

Emergency crews were dispatched around 8:17 a.m. for the report of a twin-engine Beachcraft 95 with just the pilot aboard. The pilot reported having a landing gear issue, according to LVIA officials. 

The plane landed on Runway 6-24, but its landing gear collapsed beneath it. 

No injuries were reported. 

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
