Drugs, weapon found in vehicle during stop

Police find shotgun, metal knuckles, marijuana and cocaine in Bethlehem man's car

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A Bethlehem man was arrested for possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, marijuana and paraphernalia after a traffic stop in Stefko Boulevard.

Police found a sawed off shotgun in the car of Christopher Jordan, as well a pair of metal knuckles with a folding blade, on Wednesday night.

Police also found a small amount of marijuana and cocaine in the car.

Jordan was arraigned at 1:35 a.m. Thursday.

He  was committed to Northampton County Prison, unable to post 10 percent of $10,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. March 7 before Magisterial District Judge Romig Passaro.
