Easton Avenue to be resurfaced in Bethlehem Township

BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. - Lane restrictions are slated to begin next week as PennDOT resurfaces Easton Avenue in Bethlehem Township.

The avenue will be milled and resurfaced between Willow Park and Farmersville roads.

The project includes updating guiderail, repairing drainage inlets and installing new ADA compliant curb ramps. In addition, new asphalt will be placed to provide drivers with a smoother ride.

Lane restrictions will begin April 2 on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for work on the ADA compliant curb ramps. After the curbs are completed, traffic will be reduced to a single lane on weeknights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving.

The project, contracted by Hanson Aggregates Pennsylvania LLC of Allentown, costs over $640,000 and is expected to be completed in June.
