Easton PD: Man shot multiple times on W. Wilkes Barre St.

Police says wounds are believed to be survivable.

EASTON, Pa. - Easton police are investigating a Thursday night shooting.

According to Easton police, officers responded to the area of Coal Street between W. Wilkes Barre and Hoyt streets around 5:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

They found a 29-year-old man there with multiple gunshot wounds, police say.

The man was transported to a local hospital with serious wounds that police say appear to be survivable.

Police add the man is not cooperating with the investigation.

Police say they are processing two scenes related to the crime, however, they would not provide the location of the second scene.

Police say they are currently looking for multiple people that fled east on W. Wilkes Barre St. from the scene.
