Easton police charge man for grocery store robbery

Gregory Edward Dodson already in jail in Montgomery County

EASTON, Pa. - Easton police have charged Gregory Edward Dodson with the Aug. 13 robbery of Hall's Grocery Store in the city.

The robbery occurred at 1:38 p.m. Aug. 13 in the grocery store at 39 N. 7th St.

The robber entered the store, displayed a handgun and forcibly took items.

The police department's criminal investigation division obtained an arrest warrant for Dodson Monday.

He has been charged with robbery, aggravated assault, theft, receiving stolen property, reckless endangerment of another person and  possession of a firearm.

Dodson is incarcerated in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

A police report did not reveal Dodson's age or place of residence.
