Easton police investigate suspicious person incident

EASTON, Pa. - Police are trying to identify the driver in a suspicious incident Sunday in Easton.

Officials said around 1 p.m., a 12-year-old girl was walking near St. Johns and Nesquehoning streets when a minivan drove by, slowed down and the driver asked if she wanted a ride.

Police said he never got out of the car, but police are trying to identify him.

He's described as being in his 50s or 60s with white hair and an accent when he talks. He was driving a smaller white minivan with tinted windows.
