Easton Wells Fargo reopens day after pipe breaks

EASTON, Pa. - A bank in Northampton County is now open after a pipe inside broke Tuesday morning.

Easton firefighters received a call around 7 a.m. Tuesday that the Wells Fargo on South 3rd Street had been flooded.

Fire officials arrived to find a collapsed ceiling and a broken sprinkler pipe, however they are not sure which occurred first. There was about 2-3 inches of water across the bank floor, according to officials.

The Easton location remained closed Tuesday, but reopened on Wednesday.
