ALLENTOWN, Pa. - An Emergency Response Team helped apprehend a suspect wanted for a Monday afternoon shooting.

Angel Filomeno, III, 21, was found shot, multiple times, on the sidewalk of the 700 block of North 4th street in Allentown just before 3:00pm, police said.

Filomeno had suffered 3 gunshot wounds and was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest where he was treated and is currently listed in stable condition, police said.

Police said, shortly after the shooting witnesses reporting seeing the suspect, Christopher Perez, 27, flee into a building in the 300 block of Tilghman Street.  That's when the ERT team responded and with Allentown Police, officials were able to arrest Perez without incident.  He's currently in police custody.
