Emmaus freshman charged with December bomb threat

EMMAUS, Pa. - Officials said a 9th grade girl at Emmaus High School is responsible for a December bomb threat at the school.

Charges have been filed against the student in connection with a Dec. 20 threat.

Emmaus Police said this is the only threat this student is believed to have been involved with.

The case was referred to Lehigh County juvenile probation office.

The threat forced school officials to close the school.

Emmaus H.S. was also closed last Thursday because of a bomb threat.

No bomb was ever found.
