Fatal crash on I-78 ruled suicide
SALISBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The death of a man in a wreck on Interstate 78 has been ruled a suicide, according to the Lehigh County coroner.
Michael Berger, 27, died in the crash on I-78 in Salisbury Township, near the Cedar Crest Boulevard exit.
It happened around 6 p.m. and Berger was pronounced dead at the scene about an hour later.
His death has been ruled a suicide. The coroner did not release a cause of death.
One severely damaged vehicle could be seen on the side of the road as emergency crews worked.
Traffic was backed up in the area for several hours.
State police have not released any details about what happened.
