Father John Misty to headline Musikfest August 6

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Singer-songwriter Father John Misty, along with the indie rock band San Fermin will headline Musikfest August 6.

It will take place at 7 p.m. at the festival's Sands Steel Stage

Tickets for the concert are $34-$44 and go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. to Artsquest members and Friday at 10 a.m. to the public at musikfest.org and 610-332-3378.

Misty aka Josh Tillman, began his career in the early 2000s. He joined the Seattle-based Fleet Foxes as their drummer from 2008-2012. Since then he released the album Fear Fun as Father John Misty. 

In April, Misty's Pure Comedy debuted at the top of Billboard's Rock, American/Folk Album and Alternative Album charts. 

San Fermin released its self-titled debut album in 2013.  The band’s next album Jackrabbit arrived in April 2015, debuting at No. 8 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.

The 34th edition of Musikfest runs from August 4-13.
