Final flight for Young Eagles?

If Braden Airpark is sold, program will end

Young Eagles program

FORKS TWP., Pa. - The Eagles may have soared for the final time Sunday at Braden Airpark in Forks Township, Northampton County.

The Young Eagles program-- run by the Experimental Aircraft Association-- gives free airplane rides to kids between the ages of eight and 17.

But organizers say this could be the last event there for the kids if the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority moves forward with a proposal to sell the airpark.
