Fire breaks out at Stockertown scrap yard

STOCKERTOWN, Pa. - A fire broke out at a scrap yard in Northampton County.

It happened Monday night at the Einfalt Salvage Yard in Stockertown.

That's in the 200 block of Bushkill Street.

Officials say there was a working fire at the location and a crew at the scene said it was a scrap pile that was on fire.

Fire crews were at the scene for several hours.

Forks Township Fire Chief Bill Carver said the fire has been ruled suspicious since the yard was unoccupied at the time.

No injuries were reported.
