Fire tears through home in Moore Township

MOORE TWP., Pa. - Fire heavily damaged a home in Northampton County overnight.

Flames broke out around 11:30 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 200 block of Grouse Drive in Moore Township.

Crews at the scene said it was a tough fight because there aren't any fire hydrants in the area so firefighters had to use tankers to fight the flames.

No injuries were reported.

Officials have not yet said what may have caused the fire. Crews were at the scene until about 4:30 a.m.
