Former Allentown Croc Rock approved for office, retail space

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown's former Croc Rock building is getting closer to a date with the wrecking ball.

Wednesday night, the board that oversees the neighborhood improvement zone approved plans to replace the defunct concert hall with a six-story building that will be a mix of office, retail, and living space.

The new building will be called 520 Hamilton Flats and it's the latest project by developer J.B. Reilly.

Reilly also got approval Wednesday to renovate the Morning Call building on North Sixth Street. Reilly's City Center Investment purchased the building last year.
