Former student athletes facing robbery charges

Two young men who were student athletes in the Lehigh Valley are facing charges in connection with an armed robbery near Shippensburg University.

According to police, 19-year-old Michael McDaniel and 19-year-old Chance Neilley pulled an armed robbery in Cumberland County.

The men broke into a home and demanded money and drugs, police said.

Police said the men were armed with a knife, and a pellet gun.

McDaniel and Neilley both attended Bethlehem Catholic High School.
