ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A former Whitehall High School teacher accused of sending explicit Snapchat messages to students entered a guilty plea Monday.

David Andrew Borghesani, 30, pleaded guilty to corruption of minors in Lehigh County court.

According to the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office, in October 2016, investigators discovered Borghesani and a female student were in contact through Snapchat for more than a year, and he sent her sexually explicit photos in August.

Borghesani was a teacher at Whitehall High School at that time. He resigned from his position in February 2017.

During the investigation police uncovered a second potential victim. When authorities spoke with her, she said she and Borghesani began communicating via Snapchat in 2016, when she was a minor.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 30.
