Garage catches fire in Forks Township

Fire in Forks Twp. rips through garage

FORKS TWP., Pa. - The garage of a house saw some serious damage after a fire in Northampton County Monday night.

Crews were called to the scene at 2700 Ben Jon Road in Forks Township at around 6 p.m.

According to fire crews on scene, the fire started in the garage and spread quickly because of chemicals and gas that were in the garage.

Besides the garage, which was attached to the house, only the first floor of the house saw some smoke and water damage.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
