'Getting Grace' to be back in local theaters this weekend

Bethlehem native Daniel Roebuck's film "Getting Grace" will be back in theaters this weekend.

Roebuck co-wrote, directed and produced the independent movie that was filmed right here in the Lehigh Valley. The film showcases a quiet funeral director -- played by Roebuck -- whose life is about to change when teenage girl and cancer patient Grace -- played by Bethlehem Catholic grad Madelyn Dundon -- enters his life to learn what will happen after she dies.

The movie premiered in local theaters in Allentown and Center Valley this past weekend, raising nearly $25,000 for local charities. Roebuck says any further support will help him make his next movie, "The Hail Mary!", which is set to film in the Lehigh Valley this summer.
