Governor, Attorney General dropped from gay marriage suit

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett and state Attorney General Kathleen Kane will be dropped from a lawsuit challenging the state's ban on gay marriage.

Lawyers on both sides of the courtroom agreed Friday to dismiss Corbett and Kane as defendants.

Corbett supports the ban on same-sex marriage but Kane has previously called it "unconstitutional."

It's not yet known when the case will go to trial.
