Great Allentown Fair comes to a close

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - As the unofficial end of summer drew to a close on Monday so did the Great Allentown fair.

Fair marketing director Bonnie Brosious says it's too early to have exact attendance numbers but said weather may bring the overall attendance total down from last year.

Brosious says the number of people that attended grand stand shows was up by 5,000 and the best-attended concert was Pentatonix.

Brosious said over 10,000 people were in the audience.

"It was a great day for the Valley," Brosious said about the Saturday night concert. "It's nice to have all those people come from different states."

Brosious said fair organizers have already started planning for next year.
