Group appeals ruling over costs of Gracedale legal challenge

HARRISBURG, Pa. - A group that fought successfully to block the sale of Northampton County's Gracedale Nursing Home is trying again to recoup its legal fees.

The Gracedale Initiative Petition Committee is appealing its case to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

The group said former county Councilman Ron Angle and blogger Bernie O'Hare should pick up the tab for the $21,000 it spent fending off a challenge from the two men.

The committee's appeal was denied in Commonwealth Court earlier this month.
