Hanover Township declares snow emergency

HANOVER TWP., Pa. - Hanover Township in Northampton County has declared a snow emergency for Wednesday beginning at 6 a.m. and continuing into Thursday.

A messy round of winter weather is on its way as a mix snow, sleet, freezing rain, and rain is expected to develop on Wednesday and lead to slippery travel through much of the area.

Parking on all Hanover Township streets is prohibited during the emergency and vehicles may be ticketed with a $50 fine.
