Holocaust survivor shares story at Penn State LV

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - A Holocaust survivor who spent time in Auschwitz says she's speaking out to make sure sure atrocities don't happen again.

Esther Bauer shared her story at Penn State Lehigh Valley today.

Bauer says she spent time in four concentration camps during the War and barely avoided death in Auschwitz.

"He stood there and said, you go right, you go left. A very good friend of mine went left, I went right, and they said you go now into the shower," Bauer said.

Bauer calls herself "lucky" and says her shower was just water and not a gas chamber.

Now Bauer says she shares her story at college campuses to educate the younger generation.
