Homes sought for dogs rescued from homicide scene

WILLIAMS TWP., Pa. - An animal rescue group  is looking to find good homes for a number of dogs that were taken from a homicide victim's home.

Mark Werkheiser was found shot and killed inside his home in Williams Twp., Northampton Co., earlier this month, police said. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

The Short Nose Only Rescue Team took ten pugs that were found inside Werkheiser's home.

The dogs are currently in foster care. Once they are medically evaluated, they'll be up for adoption.
