J. Birney Crum Stadium receives much-needed renovations

J. Birney Crum Stadium receives upgrades

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - J. Birney Crum Stadium has received multiple improvements over the summer, including an improved turf and track surface.

The facility has been in need of upgrades since the turf became unsafe to use over the past few years. The stadium was one of the first to install turf 12 years ago.

Crum Stadium is used heavily by Allentown School District. Allen, Dieruff and Allentown Central Catholic all play sports in the stadium.

The new, safer services also have the schools' logos. The District is very excited for the schools to start using the renovated stadium.
