Kevin Esterly extradited back to Pennsylvania

Esterly arrives in Lehigh Valley via Miami

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The man who allegedly ran off with an Allentown teen is back in the Lehigh Valley.

Kevin Esterly, 45, arrived back in Allentown today after being extradited from Miami, Florida.

Esterly was taken into custody in Miami March 18 after he and Amy Yu were captured in Mexico.

Police said Esterly and Yu developed a secret relationship over the past few months before they disappeared together March 5th.

The Lehigh County District Attorney's Office said Esterly is being charged with one count of Interference with Custody of Children, a third-degree felony.

Esterly allegedly signed Yu out of her school on multiple occasions between November 2017 and February.

Officials say Esterly will be arraigned Saturday.
