Lehigh University unveils eco-friendly bus

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. - Friday is National Car-Free Day and Lehigh University is celebrating by unveiling a new eco-friendly electric bus.

Officials say the plan for the new bus has been in the works for about two years.

It's a zero emission, fully electric vehicle. It's handicap accessible and can carry student's bicycles and supports sustainability at Lehigh.

The bus will help shuttle students between campus buildings during class hours.
