Lehigh Valley gearing up for annual Auto Show

Lehigh Valley gearing up for annual...

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - It's almost time for the annual Lehigh Valley Auto Show. 2017 marks the twenty year anniversary of the four-day event.

The auto show returns to Lehigh University's Goodman Campus March 23rd-26th.

"There will be 32 manufacturers, there will be close to if not exceeding 300 cars," said Tom Kwiatek of the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association. "For attendance, we're expecting 50,000-55,000 people."

Cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motorcycles will be stretched over 130,000 square feet.

"I think the fact that we've added a new venue, and that's actually two tents joined by a walkway, I think that's gonna create some excitement because it's new, it's different," said Kwiatek.

If you want to get an early jump, there's a preview gala on March 22nd with a "Roaring 20s" theme, to mark the event's 20th anniversary.

Proceeds from the gala will go to the Lehigh Valley Health Network's Children's Hospital.

Tickets for the gala are $90 for individuals and $150 for couples.

The regular auto show is $10 for adults and $7 for kids and senior citizens.
