VIDEO: Lehigh Valley soldier welcomed...

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A volunteer organization helped a Lehigh Valley solider get a big welcome home after a year-long deployment in the Middle East Saturday morning.

Lt. Col. Shawn Shutts was greeted by dozens of people at the Lehigh Valley International Airport as he returned home from Kuwait.

Shutts homecoming was organized by "A Hero's Welcome," a group of volunteers who are dedicated to helping greet troops.

"It is exciting and wonderful…I feel very, very blessed," said Lisa Shutts, Shawn's wife.

"My family and friends make it all worthwhile," Lt. Col Shutts said.

Shutts has served in the Army for 18 years and has deployed three times before serving in Kuwait.
