Local cyclists take part in 'Ride of Silence'

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Cyclists all over the world and in our area are coming together to honor those who have been hurt or killed while riding on the roads.

Members of the Lehigh Wheelmen Association took part in the Lehigh Valley Ride of Silence Wednesday evening.

Our cameras caught up with them riding through Allentown.

The goal is to raise awareness of cyclists' rights on the road.

Similar rides took place at hundreds of locations worldwide.
