Local doctor sentenced for attack on son-in-law in Ohio

A Lehigh County doctor charged with brutally attacking his son-in-law will now spend years behind bars.

Georges Bensimhon was sentenced to three years in prison Tuesday.

Police said Bensimhon drove to a suburb of Cleveland in September and attacked his son-in-law with a crow bar.

He pleaded guilty to an assault charge in April. In exchange, a charge of attempted murder was dropped.
