Local university to send seeds to Puerto Rico

NEW BRITAIN, Pa. - As Puerto Rico continues to rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, one local college is joining in on recovery efforts.

Students and staff at Delaware Valley University in Bucks County were busy Friday sorting packets of seeds they collected to send to the island.

The seeds will go toward helping Puerto Rican farmers replant thousands of acres of vegetation that was lost after September's storm.
