Lower Macungie house goes up in flames

Lower Macungie fire severely damages home

LOWER MACUNGIE, Pa. - A house fire broke out in Lower Macungie Monday evening.

The fire was reported at 6 p.m. in the 6000 block of Sauterne Drive on the corner of Sauterne and Chardonnay drives.

The homeowner was home at the time of the fire, according to the fire chief on scene.

Four people have been displaced as a result.

No injuries were reported.

Fire crews are continuing to investigate the cause and origin of the fire.
