Lower Saucon police: Man torched ex-girlfriend's clothes

LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa. - A man is facing charges for allegedly burning his now ex-girlfriend's clothes in a fire pit in Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County.

Police said 22-year-old Jose Rivera grabbed his girlfriend's clothes from their apartment in the 2100 block of Riverside Drive on Wednesday and then threw them in a fire pit behind the residence.

Police said Rivera admitted to burning the clothes.

He has been charged with criminal mischief.
