LVIA soars out of the gate with passenger increase

HANOVER TWP., Pa. - Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority announced a sharp increase in January passenger traffic at Lehigh Valley International Airport. 

Specifically, an 11.9 percent increase took place from January to February, with over 6,000 more passengers taking flights. 

“The combination of additional flights to our leisure destinations aboard Allegiant and strong
performance from American, Delta and United has put ABE on a positive track to start the year,”
said Thomas R. Stoudt, Interim Executive Director, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
