Man accused of stealing from Tri-Boro Soccer club formally charged

Police say Brian Farley of Walnutport stole more than $100,000

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Investigators in Lehigh County said they've nabbed the man who stole tens of thousands of dollars from a youth soccer club.

Brian Farley was the treasurer for the Tri Boro Soccer Club in Whitehall Township for more than six years and was the only person with access to the club's bank accounts, according to police.

Farley stole more than $100,000 from the club's accounts over that time, investigators said.

Farley, 54, of 4648 Lehigh Drive in Walnutport, Northampton Co., was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
