Man arrested after biting Bethlehem police officer

Police: Man tried to bite cop, take his weapon

BETHLEHEM, PA. - Bethlehem police have arrested a 21-year-old New Jersey man who bit one officer and tried to grab the weapon of another.

The assault occurred at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday in Zulli student apartments at 511 E. Packer Ave.

Police report Jeremy Kaye was intoxicated and refused to leave an apartment where he did not live. He bit one officer and attempted to remove the sidearm of another.

Kaye, who resides in the first block of Regal Court in New Brunswick, was charged with aggravated assault.
