Man convicted in deadly Allentown home invasion gets life in prison

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A man convicted for his role in a deadly Allentown home invasion will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Eric Davis was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison.

Prosecutors say he and another man broke into a Pine Street apartment back in 2014, demanding drugs and money.

Jose Carrero, 24, was shot and killed during the invasion.

Davis was found guilty of second-degree murder after DNA linked him to the scene.
