LOWER MILFORD TWP., Pa. - Investigators say the man who was killed after his car hit a tree Tuesday afternoon died from natural causes.

State police in Fogelsville say the accident happened on Kings Highway South, near Janes Lane, in Lower Milford Township, Lehigh County around 4:30 p.m.

Police say 65-year-old Byron Shoemaker, of Allentown, was killed after his car went off the road and crashed into a tree.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Shoemaker died from natural causes, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's office.
