Police: Man busted with 200 pot plants

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The man's yard was green, but those plants was a different kind of grass.

Allentown police were called to the 100 block of Tilghman Street for a report of a domestic assault around 6 p.m. Tuesday, but officers found something else entirely in the back yard.

Police said they found more than 200 marijuana plants growing in the backyard of 48-year-old Fayez Dayoub.

The plants, visible from the street, ranged in size from one foot to eight feet tall.

Dayoub was charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and related charges. He was committed to Lehigh County Prison on $50,000 bail.
