Man killed on Route 22 in South Whitehall

Man killed along Rt. 22 in South...

SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - State police in Bethlehem said a man died after a crash on Route 22 in Lehigh County.

The accident happened just after 5 p.m. Wednesday at milepost 320, which is near the exit for 15th Street.

Police said Johnathan Flook hit the concrete barrier with the driver's side of his car.  After that, they said Flook attempted to steer off the barrier, and wound up on the off ramp at 15th Street.  His car continued heading east and went onto the 15th Street on ramp, then went over the guide rail and came to a final rest in a field.

Flook, 60, of Coplay, died at the scene.
