Man slashed during fight in Giant parking lot in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown police are investigating after a fight sent one man to the hospital.

Police were called to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest Sunday evening around 9 p.m. for a man with a slash wound.

The 39-year-old Emmaus man was slashed during a fight outside of Giant on Emmaus Avenue, officials said.

Witnesses told police several people got into a fight in the parking lot and that's when the man was slashed.

Police said the man took himself to the hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed and police are still investigating the incident.
