'Match Day' a right of passage for medical students

Match Day is a right of passage for fourth-year medical students.

On Friday, a multitude of those students' lives were changed when they got to open an envelope that revealed their match to a medical residency program.

Temple and St. Luke's medical students joined two local Allentown residents in learning where they'll go on to practice medicine.

“National Match Day is an unforgettable milestone for every medical student across the country,” said Joel Rosenfeld, MD, M.Ed, FACS, Chief Academic Officer, St. Luke’s University Health Network and Senior Associate Dean and Professor of Surgery.
